July. Hot, sunny, fireworks in the sky. Not everyone is thinking about falling leaves, and what candy to hand out to the local goblins. I have noticed that a couple of stores have already began to stock their shelves with Halloween items. I have been looking online and hitting garage sales when I can, and have found some vintage Halloween toys and items here and there. Although you can find vintage Halloween items all year around, summer tends to be challenging when finding vintage Halloween treasures.
Here's an item I managed to snag online. It's a ghoulishly groovy Hunchback candy pail from the 1970's made by Empire Plastics. It's value is around $25-$30. Keep your eyeballs peeled, as you never know what vintage Halloween items lurk behind that box of junk at a garage sale.
